12 ounces Pure Olive Oil

2 ½ ounces Organic Coconut Oil

1 1/5 ounces Castor oil

2.14 Ounce of Lye

1/2 Ounce Distilled Water

Step 1: Make the water lye solution.

Wearing your protective gear begin to weigh the distilled water a large stainless steel container. Next, weigh the lye and add carefully into the water (not the other way around remember). Slowly stir with a spatula or spoon until the lye has completely dissolved into the water. Once finished, set the water lye solution in a safe place so it can cool down. Let it sit for thirty to forty minutes before you mix with the oils.

Step 2: Weight and melt the oils.

Weigh out the correct amount of coconut oil and melt it down so it is in full liquid state. Meanwhile, weigh out the needed amount of olive as well as the castor oil. Put them in your large sap-making pot or crockpot. Pour the now-liquid coconut oil with the other oils. Doing so will bring your oils to approximately 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3: Combine the lye solution and oils until the soap begins to trace.

Carefully and slowly pour your lye solution into your container of melted oils.
Using a large silicone spatula or a handheld blender, mix the ingredients together. If you are using a handheld blender try to do 30-second intervals at a time. Keep blending until your soap begins to trace.

Step 4: Pour into mold and let it cure.

Pour soap mixtureture into desired mold or loaf pan and cover with blanket or towel in a cool dry place. Check on your soap every couple of hours. Let it sit for at least 24 hours.
Once done, uncover your soap and let it sit and cure for another few days.

Remember if you have sensitive skin the longer you let it sit the milder your soap will be. Once you are done curing your soap you can release it from the mold and it will be ready for personal use.
